Questions

Do you as a  Druid believe in:

Original Sin. Decide (god killing blood sacrifice required because of Orginal Sin).

A God that says My Way or forever Hell punishment.

You get one and only one chance, not a cycle of continuing reincarnations.

Killing millions of people if they do not convert to your beliefs.

Racism at the highest level (Your God /gods have one chosen people).

Destroying almost all life on earth not once but twice (Water great flood and Fire coming).

if you do and still feel you are a Druid, I guess the answer for you is yes.

My words may seem harsh, but I only ask what is taught by them as facts or history has show as true.

I often write and share concepts or views that if there are "Historical verifiable References" I either  do not know them or bother to share them. Thereby letting the works fall under the category of "UPG"

This is in the  Neo-PHD "Pagan Heathen Druid" world a wonderful thing.

1) It allows the easy Use It or Lose It with out having nagging guilt that someone may know something very very old that you do not but perhaps feel you should. Thereby eliminating a reason to to attack it.

2) If it is UPG and I believe all that we create without direct knowledge of other available sources that we have been exposed to is UPG. Then the road to saying prove it is closed for good.

Yes you can agree or disagree with it , "Take it or Leave It". Even  show other sources that would indicate that this or that is or was not this or that way.

3) But if you expect there are other sources and the UPG was plagiarized, then that to adds perhaps value to it. Remembering we all almost have past lives, some form of Universal Psychic Mind and varying access to the Akashic Records Library. Do you still have your card?

So if you find something I share upsets you and I did not leave reference of others you can attack.

Yet there are many stages Robes and chains to earn, before one owns "The Druid's Egg or Eye"

And In the last stage, Robe and Chain, the Wisdom on what Battles, Where, Why  and if taken on in sight of whose most Public Eye.

To take on is the Mark of Mature Druid Oak.

 Yet even Strong and Tall  Trees often fail gain this deep roots wisdom.

We embrace our Druidic history of the Cole-Men, Rosc Roscanna ,  Ár nDraíocht Féin, Conjure, Awen, Imbas Forosna and Taibhsearachd. And use them today a well and wisely as we can.

 And Yes we often walk the ancient way of the Ley, hear the the whispers of the ancient Oak, have a special relationship with the Gods Fae dJinn and many other Otherkin of Summerslands.

Of Old Druids and Old Gods

The old Gods and the old Ley Way in a time when Druids walked in the Sidhe and the Forrest.

It is said that Druids had two religions yet also as many as the land had tribes.

A thought from a old un-reformed Druid.

There are those that are in worship a god or Gods and Goddesses.

And there are Druids that know many Gods and Goddesses and observe the rules of Ghosti with them and the Sidhe, as also they do with these Ley Druids.

Yet all often walk in the same woods.

"Death only hurts the Living" TDK

Now this can be taken as sure you have to be living to feel Death. With as far a the moment before transition is true.

But is not the purpose or intended meaning of this Sommerland's Truth.

The Soul passing from Mortal Coil (body) may feel many things related to its time living. Separation from Family being able to see it or know it is still Alive and here (for the moment or returning often).

 Regrets or unfinished Business and desires. Longing for that special Lust and Danger Life has.

But Pain no, it may even  carry the Crippling wounds of its old life till it learns that by simple though its Astral Body is Whole and as beautiful as it wishes,

So this saying is to aid the Living, after the shock and pain of losing a Loved One has dulled enough for them to really think about it.

Also to help reassure them that Life after Life goes on. When they feel your love and conviction as you share it in their time of sorrow.

The Druid Root.

Curious how many like myself, do not feel the need for, Pageantry, Robes / Chains of rank, formal Litanies or even Holly Days. To be in contact with the Druid within you, the spirit of the ancient Oak or the call of the Ley?

Tthey do have their purposes. I often use all of them.
What got me wondering was a post asking to help with a one lesson class on what a Druid is.

For me all of these things are tools and respects, but the Druid Root is deeper then the Order or The Way.

 Ritual has its purpose as do formal training but it is Soul that rides the Ley.

We all know history is written by the Victor and as we (the Druids of our ancient past self's) withdrew from the field of Earth's combat. We know the Romans had no reason to speak kindly or truly of us as they extinguished the burning embers of the Old ways in the Celts.

Should we Claim the Sun but not see the Moon ???

I would hope the in vain that the Answer was Druid Self Evident. 

The Oak Lives Both in the Sun and the Moon.

Wiccan is but a Subset Witch Crafts and Witchism.

Natural Witches are a subset of Humanity, many are Druid also!

One can treat it as one of many Celtic Tribal beliefs.  (Makes not difference if you can find a historic reference or not.)

From both a Biological and Techno-Druid point of view different Functions under different energy conditions are the Cycle of life.

The Bard and the Bark first Oak of Life's Ark

Being a Druid Bard the Craeftgemot Witancoveyne way!

I am from time to time ask how to be a Druid Bard? 

And yes there are so many books, so many tales and poems to read and ponder.

So many tools of Old and New Psycholinguistic Art and Science to learn. 

Yet in my Order I share a way that is simple, Heart and Hearth felt and connects us back to the ancient spirit and ancients of our old way. 

How long does this take pray tell? 
Just a turn of the Moon or so.
So here it so you may know.

Find a few live healthy acorns, if you can put them in a small bag or even cut off sock. 

As the Moon starts wane, carry these Children of the Forrest everywhere you go.

Talk to them any time you can, touch and hold them in your hand. 

Tell them of the Dark, of first damp soil in the Forest. 
Of struggle and unbelieved metamorphosing that awaits them in the lonely Dark. 

Of Roots first drink and shoots first Sun. 

Of being young and oh so vulnerable. 

Of growing in the Sun and singing with the wind and the Moon.

Of how their life will be, the changing of the seasons great wheel. 

Of the Times the Druids will come to them in honor Sun or Moon Wheel as it turns. 

Of growing strong and giving comfort and shelter both the small and the great that may come their way.

Of being a home to those that will fly and sing in your strong arms. 

Of giving up your leaves to the seasons and renewal from saved food in your roots.

Of sky lighting and storm of the greatest danger that is Man.

Of growing many Acorns and understanding all will not make the change . 

That You are the Sky Candles great gift, a way to feed the many that live and die so quick.

Of growing and breaking down of giving back to Mother Gala's forever earth and womb. 

Of being born anew from efforts you have sown.

Of so many things to tell the Children of the Forest.

Now as the New Moon starts to wax, write down your words you have told. Of acorns beginning till old Oaks end.

Boil it in cauldron and weave in loom of the mind till it is but a few minutes Magick  Rhyme.

Now on the night of the new Full Moon, take the children to a spot that needs the Oak and where it can grow strong and Tall.

Tear up you speech put a bit in each hole you dig.

Plant the Children of the Forest for they are not mere acorns but the Future. 

Now under Full Moon tell your True Bard's tale to the Children and the sweet Moon's night 

Spun straight from your Heart's own Loom.

Welcome Bard Druid and before you go home be sure and kiss the Moon.

Simple Pleasures:

I spend a few minutes tonight doing something few in our hectic Factory made Food World have ever experienced. A few may remember and some Blessed may still do.

What was this wonderful oh so simple experience?

Slicing up a loaf of Janice's homemade all organic sour dough starter Bread.

Five minutes wasted many may say.

No five minutes blessed thinking of Mother Nature and the great blessing plants bring us all.

No five minutes wishing all could have all they need to eat, and in not also be GMO poison.

Five minutes giving thanks for our Daily Bread!

Some Druids worship No Gods or Goddesses, fear neither them, Demons or Death.

Yet we walk the true Ley with the Old Ones.

Sing with the Fae along the way.

Listen on the wind for the Wisdom of the Ancient Oak.

Druid's order of training

Order of Training on the Ley path of a Druid.

Vatis or Ovate as seer, psychic and prophet must learn to hear and see with the Psychic mind as first.

Bard as poet and warrior must learn to teach , how to bless and curse  (druid rhetoric {Rosc or roscanna magick poems} )   with the psychic mind, tongue and body as second.

Druid as wiser warrior and peace keeper must learn to deal with the Politics of Life both Human and Gods as last.

The Samantha Effect

Question, do you use the “Samantha Effect “ in your everyday Psychokinetic needs?

Taking advantage of the expected Pseudo positive feedback in a somewhat like Placebo effect mental training and reinforcement.

The use of gestures like Samantha (The Witch in Be Witched old TV series) wiggling her nose to make something happen is the “Samantha Effect “ 

Using and gesture will willing something to happen (Your Psychokinetic need) say like a Red traffic light to change Green.

So you already know sooner or later light will change to green. The is the Positive Feedback or Positive reinforcement effect. Same as you use with kids and pets (Oh Good boy or Good job, thanks).

The "Placebo effect" is yes it would have turned green anyway!

But the fact that you willed an event to happen, tied that to a special gesture (Hand Noise etc) and it happened reinforces the Subconscious that your will and gesture together and releasing your Magick or Psychokinesis. 

This should help you develop real true control and power. And you want to make this work automaticly  in time of emergency! 

Here is an example of what I mean. I am often a passenger in a Car. When we need a break in traffic or say are making a left turn on arrow and right turning cars should yield but does not look like they are about to. I will them to slow down or stop. Both in mind and physical gesture.

 Now if out of the blue I see a car about to hit us, this gesture and Psychokinetic action, wish or spell happens automatically with heavy energy level aimed both at the other drivers mind and the car itself.

I find it really seems to work!  And I use hand gestures as I can not wiggle my nose! Lets hear from you and if and how you do it?

What is a Druid's Mind:

    Perhaps this is really the best way to describe what a Druid really is.
While not getting caught  up in all the different views of the different Druid Orders.

   "Druid's Mind", definition by TDK

    A person that has either by nature or by efforts has reached a state of connected awareness to the hidden Worlds. I refer to this awareness  as the "Ley Way"

   This state exist just beyond normal conscious awareness. And is often bridged by conscious effort, danger, desire, Genius Loci or ritual.

    Because of this sympathetic neural connection, the affected Druid often experiences empathetic feeling from their surroundings that others do not. Of even more interest is this sympathetic neural connection is a two way street.

    And is the key to the Druid's unconscious influence on all their surrounding. While under normal conditions this effect is barely noticeable to even a trained eye. When the Druid's conscious awareness bridges to the "Ley Way" the Druid's Magick or anger can reach impressive levels of environmental focus or redirection.

"What is a real Druid today” ?

I see so many definitions of what Druidry is or is not.
What a Druid is or is not.
How one can become a Druid or not.
Druid's Robes and Chains, who has the right to claim them or does not.
Another person's rights to dress as they wish I will judge not.

With some many knots in this net one should be able to catch this Druid fish.
So in frustration at hauling out of the muddy Public stream.
Only snapping crayfish with not a single Magick Salmon in sight.
I knew that is was time to fish in “The Well of Was” for this answer to who or what I really am.

Tweedledee and Tweedledum knew this great truth without the Rum.
So the White Rabbit I have become, going down the hole of the Second Sun.
Of poor Alice I could find none, yet of my Magick Salmon we are one.

So save your Staves, roll not your Runes and let the Bones rest in the bag.
I can not a twig of your view nor will argue with any cauldron's bubbling Hag.

But of what I found, I shall share and should I by chance have called you Druid.
This is what I have seen, beneath the skin, nails and hair.
I only whisper quietly, as like in the Druid's cave with the sleeping Bear.

Here is what a Druid really is.

“A very very old God or Goddess sleeping and dreaming in your Sheeple's clothes.”

That was child of the Cosmic Dragon from forever, where the cold wind blows.
With her claws we came and cut the Ley,
Set the great Stones along its way.
Hid our Souls in secret Magick egg of yesterday.
Left the Adder to guard our way after losing the War with Fae.
