Who
can call themselves Druid?
This
questions comes up all the time.
I
really think that the best definition of a Druid today is a Person
that feels the strong call, favor and many taste of what was in the
past they believe, parts of Ancient Druidism and its Druids in both
Nature's and Societies needs around them.
For
them acting in the ways that they understand or feel is Druidism and
behavior suitable for a Druid to act is very important to them.
Because of this they call them self's a Druid as this label fits them
better than any other Path or Faith label around. Most of these will
learn from any and every cup they can and if blessed drink often from
the Well of Was.
Some
people will be called to and study under the many Private Label Druid
Houses in the market place. These houses will award them designer
branding labels, titles and ranks as the House see fit to. Of course
many of these Druids will proudly wear their earned or bought
designer label on their soul's public shirt. Others will just study
learn from these Houses and every where else they can. While quietly
serving both Nature and Society in the Druid ways. Needing no other
label then Druid to light the path of their work through life.
For
the Oak will call who it calls.
We
other followers of the Oak need only to let them know there are paths
to the Deep Dark Forest of Druidism and that they are welcome to walk
with us or alone in our parts of the great Druid Woods as long as
they harm none!
Let
it be to unto whom ever will, call them self's Druid!
Let
it be unto you and your wisdom, who you will call, MDF “My Druid
Friend”.
