Modern Gods

While not everyone feels they are a polytheists, even among Druids or other Pagans.

I feel when they look at the Modern Gods, they will see that they to are deep into Polytheism. To show what I mean, lets look at the B Family of Gods and Goddesses.

The B Family of Gods and Goddesses:


How many times have we been admonished to be more like these Gods and Goddesses?

Or wished and prayed to them in need, frustration or despair.



And of Course we all know someone that claims to be a direct descendant of the Family Matriarch “Queen Bee” .

And everyone has wished or prayed to their most popular Aunt, "Gonna Be" .

Polytheism
is the worship of or belief in multiple deities usually assembled into a pantheon of gods and goddesses, along with their own religions and rituals. In most religions which accept polytheism, the different gods and goddesses are representations of forces of nature or ancestral principles, and can be viewed either as autonomous or as aspects or emanations of a creator God or transcendental absolute principle (monistic theologies), which manifests immanently in nature (panentheistic and pantheistic theologies).

It is a type of theism. Within theism, it contrasts with monotheism, the belief in a singular God, in most cases transcendent. Polytheists do not always worship all the gods equally, but can be henotheists, specializing in the worship of one particular deity. Other polytheists can bekathenotheists, worshiping different deities at different times.

The One Principle that Unites Pagans, Heathens and Druids

The below was question was ask in another Social Network and I feel it has value for all of us to answer.

For me the real question is Does Your Path / Religion give others the Right to Chose Without Damnation?

The are millions of peoples in the world that follow Paths /Religions with more than One God / Goddess or perhaps None. Pagans, Heathens, Druids (PHD;s) are among them. In most cases we PHD's separate our self's from the Three Book Faiths, not so much in a belief their being only One, Many or No Gods / Goddesses , but by the belief that there are many paths to better understanding our roles in these lives we have on earth and the After Death periods of regeneration in the Astral , SummerLand or Heaven or its many other names.  

We do not condemn others that do not take up our current path to some eternal Damnation and punishment. Nor do we judge Evil by what Path / Religion a person or group follows but by the Person's or Path / Religions followers actions or lack of actions in this World. 

Also does it have Divine claims being better and giving its chosen followers or race, special rights over others and other races of people. 

The freedom of choice without Damnation is The one Principle that Unites Pagans, Heathens and Druids as we travel our many different paths sharing, helping and learning from each other as we go.
