Being a Druid today, what the Awen does that really mean anyway?

For me it is as simple as being plugged in (always On) to Mother's Network and acting as an active node instead of passive node on Mother's (Life's / Earth) network .

Wth an open data/soul portal to the other side of the Veils running.

Sorry for Techno-Geek , but thats how this Techno-Druid sees it.

Sacred Places....What are they?

Have you ever wondered how or why they came to be considered sacred? Besides locations of great Death and Wars that honor the Souls of the lost or Blue of the Night.

For the most part besides often great beauty, they are just a weak or thin spot between the Veils or Dimensions.

Often with a energy leak that most can feel and some can use or where used in the past by more tuned in peoples.

These past used places or Henges as I like to call then can also now be very dead in our time frame for many differ reasons.

Most often for me the sacred places I have physical access too are Ley Lines. I try and connect in any Ley Line (Energy leak) that I feel.

 The LEY:

:      I walk with the LEY in the Druid's Ancient Way for here is most often where the Souls of the Old Ones Still stay.

What is Drudism or Druidry?

A  Religion, a Life Style, a  Faith, a Path, a Mystery,  a Philosophy,  a Craft, a Science a Dream  or?
Yes it is.
Like our Oak, we the Druids need both the Day and the Night.
The Sun and the Moon,
The Wind and the Rain.
The Rivers and the Earth.
For as we once Made All, all is now made in us.

What is the Druid Today in our Modern World?

Who can call themselves Druid?

This questions comes up all the time.

I really think that the best definition of a Druid today is a Person that feels the strong call, favor and many taste of what was in the past they believe, parts of Ancient Druidism and its Druids in both Nature's and Societies needs around them.

For them acting in the ways that they understand or feel is Druidism and behavior suitable for a Druid to act is very important to them. Because of this they call them self's a Druid as this label fits them better than any other Path or Faith label around. Most of these will learn from any and every cup they can and if blessed drink often from the Well of Was.

Some people will be called to and study under the many Private Label Druid Houses in the market place. These houses will award them designer branding labels, titles and ranks as the House see fit to. Of course many of these Druids will proudly wear their earned or bought designer label on their soul's public shirt. Others will just study learn from these Houses and every where else they can. While quietly serving both Nature and Society in the Druid ways. Needing no other label then Druid to light the path of their work through life.

For the Oak will call who it calls.

We other followers of the Oak need only to let them know there are paths to the Deep Dark Forest of Druidism and that they are welcome to walk with us or alone in our parts of the great Druid Woods as long as they harm none!

Let it be to unto whom ever will, call them self's Druid!

Let it be unto you and your wisdom, who you will call, MDF “My Druid Friend”.

What is Druid Craft

Peeking into the Druid's Egg    001.

Ideas, Questions, Memories and my Druid
views.

Here I try to dig down to the Oak's true first roots or (root
cause for techies) of being a Druid and being useful too.

Sometimes
these may seem also short and awful simple. This is what I search for
and try to boil down in my Cauldron filled with water from the “Well
of Was”  (You can Google it).

Druid Craft  or  Druidcraft

Is the use of Natural Wisdom while applying natural and unnatural powers at the command of the Druid to any issue.

Science, the Psychic and often non repeatable events or observations

Once upon a time, a new unheard previously unpublished Author wrote a first published book that became a Best Seller Book too! Many many people experienced the wonderful book at a personal level and sales just keep growing.

Now a team of well known scientist decided to study these rare claimed phenomena called Best Seller books and the even rarer case of first Book is Best Seller. They located one thousand unknown, unpublished Authors and paid them all to write a book. The team then published the books and none become best sellers.

Does this prove that an unknown unpublished Author can not write a best seller ? The team of scientific team said it does as others can not reproduce the phenomena under controlled scientific conditions. Still there was at annoying best seller book that some many people claimed they experienced out there. OK said the scientist it failed the first test of others being able to reproduce it that are knowable in the art of writing.

Well lets give in the test of the claimant being able to repeat the phenomena under controlled conditions on demand.

So the team of Scientist located the said author and mover her to their labs. They paid the new author that had written the best seller book that so many enjoyed to write 10 more books in a row, and they would publish them for her. None of the next 10 books made the best seller list.

See, see, the scientist shouted, even the special case Author can not repeat it! Now with two scientific studies published by the team of scientist. It was time to reanalize all the known data and publish their official conclusions on the subject.

Because repeated experiments could not reproduce the previously observed odd phenomena of a new unheard of unpublished Author writing a Best Seller Book. The Scientist concluded that it really did not happen at all and all who sold or bought and enjoyed the book really just suffering from mass hysterics or just delusional. At last the Walls of Science where once again proven strong and safe.

Yes this sort of view buries important observations of the Psychic, Pagus and even physical world and new scientific efforts all the time. What a shame the new God of Science is blind like the Lady Justice and only beliefs it its own scales with their thumb pushing down one one side most of the time.

What does it mean to you to be a Druid of today?

And Jeffrey ask what does it mean to you to be a Druid of today? Ah Jeffrey you tug at the golden thread of the Druids.

In 2012 Society is like a large hospital.. It has its customers, Doctors Nurses, Security Guards that everyone knows and sees. Here in this great hospital is where most will be born and will die. But hidden away are another group of people that also play a vital role in hospital's life.

Some are Social engineers, Community Planners, Architects, Builders, Bio-Medical engineers, Fund Raisers to rich and famous (Gods and Goddesses of our world) and the Maintenance Engineers and staff. Some of these other people have great flamboyance and flair, others slide-rules and gray hair. Others just grim determination to keep it working and clean. Yet in the end it is their Magick and care that keeps the gears turning, Sunrise and Moonrise through all its seasons.

Among this second set of people there walks and invisible friend handing out bottles of Cold Awen, a clean towel to wipe the tired and sweaty brow. A dose of Muse or a rub of a sore back. Shining a secret light when there is no way to be seen. They are the Druids the people and keepers of the in-between. And it is in the world of the in-between where I too plant the acorns of ideas, sometimes a gentle push other times a Hurricane of Magick as I walk the way of the Oak and Line of the Ley, until this mortal coil I surrender and once again to Summerland I go and play.
