Un-Reformed Druid Define:

As with all things Druidic each Unreformed Druii has their own definition. Here is part of mine and some other Druii I know.

We are not apologetic of our Ancient ancestral Druids  (our past self's) .
Nor accept or reject history painted by our Roman Pagan  Rome Christian enemies of the past.

We do not Whitewash, Forgot or ignore in our understanding, expectations and defenses , the well documented and praised in their Holy Books and "Malleus Maleficarum"   crimes against Humanity  by the In-Power Abrahamic Faiths. Yet try to deal fairly with them today, yet ever cautious  as much of this is still happing in the name of their God.

We embrace our Druidic history of the Cole-Men, Rosc Roscanna ,  Ár nDraíocht Féin, Conjure, Awen, Imbas Forosna and Taibhsearachd. And use them today a well and wisely as we can.

 And Yes we often walk the ancient way of the Ley, hear the the whispers of the ancient Oak, have a special relationship with the Gods Fae dJinn and many other Otherkin of Summerslands.

Are never strangers to the Deep and Dark Woods of our past or the "Well of Was"

We accept the wisdom of our elder self's that during their time and place in the old world the actions of the Druids as whole were correct and as it needed to be. Ref.1

Of Old Druids and Old Gods

The old Gods and the old Ley Way in a time when Druids walked in the Sidhe and the Forrest.

It is said that Druids had two religions yet also as many as the land had tribes.

A thought from a old un-reformed Druid.

There are those that are in worship a god or Gods and Goddesses.

And there are Druids that know many Gods and Goddesses and observe the rules of Ghosti with them and the Sidhe, as also they do with these Ley Druids.

Yet all often walk in the same woods.

"Death only hurts the Living" TDK

Now this can be taken as sure you have to be living to feel Death. With as far a the moment before transition is true.

But is not the purpose or intended meaning of this Sommerland's Truth.

The Soul passing from Mortal Coil (body) may feel many things related to its time living. Separation from Family being able to see it or know it is still Alive and here (for the moment or returning often).

 Regrets or unfinished Business and desires. Longing for that special Lust and Danger Life has.

But Pain no, it may even  carry the Crippling wounds of its old life till it learns that by simple though its Astral Body is Whole and as beautiful as it wishes,

So this saying is to aid the Living, after the shock and pain of losing a Loved One has dulled enough for them to really think about it.

Also to help reassure them that Life after Life goes on. When they feel your love and conviction as you share it in their time of sorrow.

According to Ellen Evert Hopman of the Order of the Whiteoak (Ord Na Darach Gile), “this symbol, designed by J. Craig Melia, is meant to function as a Druidic equivalent to the Kosher marks used in Judaism. The Triskellion is an ancient symbol and can be found throughout Europe, from Greece to Ireland. The variation used here, which incorporates the spiral into the design, is found throughout Celtic lands. This design was developed by consensus from Druids of several Orders, in the US, Canada, England, Ireland and other countries. We offer it freely as a gift to anyone who wants to use it. It is a logo that means ‘blessed by Druids’ and can be used on foods, medicines, religious statues, and on any item which has been Druidically blessed.” This particular idea, though nice, doesn’t seem to have gone anywhere.

Toutas Member at Large or Member Lost?

Does your Church Grove Temple Coven or toutas" (tribe) / community have a membership category of ; Member at large,
Wondering member,
Honorary member,
Friend of,
Fellow X but pain in the Ass?

This would be someone that shares some or most of your common values and goals. Yet for any of many reasons has not committed to the (I will use this term to cover all types of structure here on) Toutas, or the Toutas has not not or is no longer  fully committed to or trust  Her / Him / IT.

This may be someone that does not want to share the responsibilities of the Toutas. Can not because of location or other reasons. Perhaps someone that has a conflict with other Elders in the Toutas management.

So instead of a full breakup moving to perhaps member at large is the best for both parties.

Member at large (etc) is also a great lets get better acquainted position for new people.

Commitments  and Rights of these positions:

Well if you offer these titles of course member type (X) has the right to use it if Public use of tiles is allowed.

Certain or all Toutas business would not be shared unless there was a compelling need to know.

Public Rituals are Public but at large members should have a honored position at them.

Private Rituals, well that depends on Ritual and why member is “at large”.

Tithe and real Physical (Time Work Money) Support:

As Toutas support is in almost all cases badly needed and often insufficient.

I recommend that in many cases Members at Large (etc) be ask to also give a tithe or other real physical support to the Toutas. After all if they do not support the Toutas in some ways, what purpose is there of keeping them on its rolls?

More of the Druid and the Child: Iron's Magick Fire.

The boy Druii was so young for the Heavy Title and chains he Bore and Wore.

He was in the deep dark forest tonight, it was a very dry season and no fire would be safe for many reasons, seen and unseen.

So he took out a very odd very short iron cauldron he had in his pack. Almost like a modern skillet. Setting it old a large flat rock that was under the leaves and soil he had just brushed away.

Had anyone besides the Fae been watching they would have been amazed at how he just seemed to know were to find this very flat stone buried in the leaves and soil.

He now added his meager meal of the day to the cauldron and with a stout Oaken wand began to tap its side. while quietly chanting.

Thing of Iron dance for me.

May your acorns (atoms) jump and sing.

Bring Suns heat that I desire.

Via Fae Magick without a Fire.

And soon the heat shimmered in the falling light.

It had been more then thirteen white Moons since the Old Druid Master had named him the Village Druii and his heir. The boy had not grow much but was now thin and harder then before. The other children of the village and tribe said his muscles now looked like the roots of the great Oak and his skin its bark as the played and laughed.

But of course never to his face and besides he never played anymore with them. The Elders and their parents treated the new druii like a God. but late at night would sometimes talk about him and the Old Ancient Druid Master. Some said the Master had crossed the great veil., others said no he was one of the ancient immortals of the great tales.

As always conversation came back to the boy. Why him why so very young what made him special? His parents were just common honest folk with barely enough land to for a Cow and Goat or two.

Yet all could see the Power had taken the Boy and left the Druii in his place. There were no alive that ever had challenged the Old Ancient Druid Master. Seems they never lived another thirteen dark Moons when they did. Again not of this was ever said when the boy was near, yet somehow there always seemed to be a Raven or wild Hair nearby if his name came up for discussion. <<
